SOMERS – Lord Somers Camp Bush Chapel 1953

The chapel, built of local materials, was on the sand spit, separated from the other camp buildings by Merricks Creek . It was dedicated in 1933.

Prolonged erosion of the sand spit led to a new chapel being built on camp side of the creek in 1963.
